Since 1964, Yalara has welcomed skiers, boarders and summer wanderers to a warm, self-catered lodge tucked into Perisher Valley - nine cosy bedrooms, mountain views and lifelong memories.
Yalara is a much-loved lodge just 400 metres from the lifts at Perisher, in the New South Wales Snowy Mountains. Built in 1964, the lodge accommodates 24 people across nine bedrooms on two levels.
Upstairs you'll find a large communal kitchen, a lounge with back-country views and a dining room. Downstairs is a games room with a pool table, a second TV room, a drying room, boot racks and plenty of ski & snowboard storage. WiFi is available in the lounge.
Yalara is a self-catering lodge - costs are kept low because guests cook in the communal kitchen and share a few light cleaning duties. Members and their approved guests are welcome all year round.

Yalara is roughly a 5-6 hour drive from Sydney via Jindabyne.
In winter, the Ski Tube Terminal at Bullocks Flat is the primary access point. Trains depart every 20-30 minutes depending on the season, whisking you and your gear straight up to Perisher - no snow chains required.
The lodge sits at 126 Wheatley Road, Perisher Valley NSW 2624, an easy 400-metre walk from the lifts.
